Personal Data and GDPR

Lifting Spirits Beauty and Aesthetics is compliant with The General Data Protection Regulation ( GDPR ) and the Information Commissioner’s Office guidelines. We only collect personal data that we need for our specified purposes that are related to our treatments in a safe manner.  We use the data to send automated reminder texts to clients 24 hrs before the appointments, occasional marketing emails advising on new treatments, promotions or change of our treatment procedures or our opening times. We periodically review the data we hold and delete anything we don’t need. Personal data of inactive clients more than 4 years old will be automatically removed from our database .We can guarantee that we will never pass on your personal data to a third party or sell your personal information.

Should you feel that you no longer want Lifting Spirits Beauty and Aesthetics to store your personal data, please get in touch and we will delete any /all your data from our system within 48 hrs.

ULEZ Areas

Appointments will only be made on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for ULEZ Areas.

If you require an appointment on any other day you may be required to pay a travelling fee.

Minimum Service Charge policy

As a mobile beauty service provider, I aim to bring convenience and high-quality treatments directly to your door. However, operating as a mobile service entails additional costs, such as travel, setup time, and maintaining the necessary equipment. To ensure I can continue to deliver exceptional services, I’ve implemented the following policy:

  • Minimum Service Charge:
    A minimum service charge of [ £35 ] will apply to all bookings.

  • Travel Fees (if applicable):
    Additional travel fees may apply for locations inside the ULEZ if not booked on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

  • Why a Minimum Charge?
    This ensures I can cover travel costs, product expenses, and time, while continuing to provide the convenience and personalized attention of a mobile service.

Bookings/Payments

We recommend you book your treatments in advance to receive your preferred date and time. You are kindly asked to pay a 50% booking fee (bank Transfer) at the time of booking your appointment with the remaining 50% paid on completion of the service provided. Accepted forms of payment will be Cash or Bank transfer only.

Appointment times and Clients Responsibilities

  • Clients must ensure they are at the agreed location at the scheduled time.

  • All treatments must be carried out during your allocated timeslot. Any unnecessary distractions, interruptions or frequent breaks during treatment times could unfortunately effect your treatment time or incur additional charges.

  • It is the clients responsibility to provide a suitable, clean, quiet space for the service.

Parking/Access

Please could you provide information on parking/access to your property on booking your appointments.

Cancellation

We operate a 24hr cancellation policy and respectfully request that you make any changes 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Any cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.

Children

We are delighted to offer treatments for children under 16, however they must be accompanied by an adult for the whole duration. It is the parent/Guardian responsibility to provide any information regarding any allergies or skin conditions for there child.

Refunds/Returns

Lifting Spirits Beauty and Aesthetics only accepts refunds and returns on products when there is proof of an allergy to that specific product or its ingredients. Refunds will be at the discretion of the manager.
